Bell Yard Chambers was founded in Bell Yard in 1989 as a specialist criminal set. Since then the practice has expanded, both in number of barristers and in the scope of the work it undertakes.

Today Bell Yard's barristers cover a broad spectrum of criminal law and common law work and the practice occupies modern, easily accessible premises in Chancery Lane with ample conference facilities in the heart of London, just a few minutes walk from the Royal Courts of Justice.

Bell Yard Chambers' work covers a wide geographical area, predominantly on the South-Eastern and Western circuits, although individual barristers conduct cases across the length and breadth of England and Wales.

Having started out as a specialist criminal set, Bell Yard Chambers maintains its strength in this field. Members provide advice and legal representation to all, across the full range of criminal law and civil law work at all levels and in all courts.
